WHO: Kennedy and Tiar WHEN: September 23rd, Night WHERE: The pools at school and then who knows? Maybe his boat? WHAT: Just you know. Stuff.
Kennedy was bored. It tended to be a rarity in her life, something that had only worsened when she discovered she was an elemental, so when it happened now she didn’t really know what to do with herself. She had to admit, if only to herself, that it was a bit of a sad realization. Normally she would have hung out with friends or gone to bug her sisters, but she had grown a bit distant from her friends since discovering what she was. Mostly this was because a fair few of them were afraid of her, though it was also because she was often afraid of herself. She tended to leave her sisters alone unless absolutely necessary because of all the important things they had going on, though she knew they would all scold her for thinking she wasn’t equally as important.
As much as Kennedy wanted to text Tiar, she found herself conflicted. Ever since the truth or dare night, they had been…different. There was more of a definition on whatever it was they were doing, though Kennedy couldn’t seem to forget the night of that horrible game gone wrong. What the game had asked her to do to Tiar, how he had told her that she should do it, how she’d woken up and he was there. She honestly couldn’t get a handle on her feelings for him, which frustrated her almost as much as he himself did. So instead of texting him, she changed into a bathing suit and headed to the pools that the school had for any student who might need a good swim. Or who might need water as more than just as something to pass the time, like her.
Immediately after she dove in, a feeling of rightness swept over her. Kennedy let her tail out, going under and just letting the water envelope her and move with her until she lost track of time. She didn’t know how long she’d been under, but when she finally surface she noticed it was pitch black outside and everyone that had been in the pool area when she’d arrived was gone. Unbothered, she dove under again, letting her magic out so that the pool was suddenly filled with waves that rivaled any one might see in the actual ocean. She was oblivious to anything that might be going on at the surface or around her for that matter, content to just enjoy the time in her element.
