Who: July and Shannon When: Sunday Afternoon Where: L.A. What: an unexpected stop
Days like these were Shannon’s favorite. Days when it was just him and July. It didn’t really matter exactly what they were doing. Today though they had been in L.A. He had dragged her out in to the world for the weekend. He had needed to do a few press elated things and bringing July with him for the weekend meant way less traveling and more time with her. But work had been yesterday. Today was just them. They had been out to eat, a little bit of site seeing, paparazzi dodging just a generally relaxing day.

But he had already ignored a call from his father which meant his father likely needed something and knew that he was far less likely to ignore his mother’s call. Shannon sighed as he answered the phone. He periodically rolled his eyes for the amusement of July. They needed him to come pick up some paperwork. What exactly type of paperwork they wouldn’t say but apparently it was needed. Shannon had tried to argue. But his mother insisted. He finally relented and ended the call.
“I have to pick something up from my dad,” he told her with a sigh as he put down the phone, “Do you mind?” Unfortunately, he really did need to go get this paperwork so it really was either taking July with him or dropping her back off at the apartment for a little while. He couldn’t decide which was the better option. He really had no idea what was going down at his father’s house right…
