O Come Sweet Death (Final Fantasy 7/Yami no Matsuei, Tsuzuki and Genesis)
Title: O Come Sweet Death
Author: joudama
Fandom: FF7/Yami no Matsuei
Rating: worksafe
Word count: 100
Prompt: Tsuzuki and Genesis: "Who do you think you are?"

--

"It's long past time for you to go," the man said softly. "The Planet's not being fair anymore, and a lot of people have been waiting for you."

Genesis narrowed his eyes. "Just who do you think you are?" he snarled. Who was this man, to try and say the Goddess had been wrong? And where had he come from, to find Genesis when the rest of the world couldn't any more--when there was no one, not even Deepground, left now to care enough even to try?

Tsuzuki smiled, once, sadly. "I'm Death," he said, and reached out his hand.

Oh, that's sweet. Just a hovering sense of melancholy. Very nice. :)

I don't think Genesis really appreciates his luck here. He gets the NICE death god even!

...*sweatdrop* ChibiZack is Being Helpful at me again.

PuppyZack (to PuppyTsuzuki): Now, see, I know this would've been easier to do if it was Angeal; Angeal's got some built-in exploitable weaknesses to puppies. Turning on the fluffometer and the wibble eyes is great when you're dealing with Angeal. But this is the other guy. So here's how to handle the other guy:

*mad flurry of whispers mutters scrambles clothes flying everywhere flying consultation with Reno and poof!*

Not-Precisely-PuppyTsuzuki (with his hair all rumpled and clothes artistically falling off and lots of glitter dramatically applied and ThatBook dangling from his fingers):ohgodIdon'tthinkthisisgonnaworkbut Hail to the Goddess' best beloved.

ChibiGenesis: *blink* *blink* *staaaaare*

NPPTzuzuki: Our Lady has inspired some new verses that I'm just yearning to entrust to you...

ChibiGenesis: ...guh.

PuppyZack (ear to ear grin): See? SEEE? Now just tickle under his chin and hold the book out about six inches past his reach and we're all set.

*dies* One of my prompts with Zack and Tsuzuki was "an unexpected act of kindness," thanks for doing it for me. >XDDDDDD

Poor, poor Tsuzuki. He hasn't learned yet to never, ever trust Zack when he says, "Hey, I have an Idea! :D "

...and damn you, you've made me think that it would be workable for Zack to be a shinigami, since even though he's human, he didn't dissolve into the livestream like the canon Squeenix ignores says he should have, and he went to pick up Aerith's ghost...and neither did Angeal, and--*rips out hair, screams*

Me three! :DDDDD

Come on, you know he'd be the best shinigami ever. Who wouldn't want to cross over with Zack as their guide?

oooops! Sorry about that! ^^;;; I had no idea that was one of your prompts... (sweatdrop)

Of course, Tsuzuki going "you're just too nice to die, let's see what I can do about commuting your sentence" would also work nicely?

Or so could Zack's bringing Aeris' pies to shinigami headquarters on a regular basis. :3

...Score another for the plotcthulhu generator? ^____^;;;;

*snicker* It was just on the list of prompts, not ones I was going to do, mainly because of lack of time.

And I refuse to allow the plotbunny room in the hatch. It's full up, no more room here. :p

Given your cat...would it really be a good idea to let him play with a sparkly internet? Just imagine the havoc.

I suspect that there would be a lot more mouse webcams and firefly-patterned Powerpoint projections when he got done with it, yeah. :) Given the general entertainment level of current Powerpoints, though, I suspect that Bunter's Revision of the Internet might not entirely be a bad thing. :3
