He totally is. He's got this glittering, sharp-witted, world-weary showmanship that's entirely too wryly self-aware for anyone as young as he is, except that apparently Archades does a spectacular job of making their nobles grow up really damn fast out of sheer self-preservation... I think part of the irony in this prompt is that Balthier was mentally the older of the two of them, because Laguna is just congenitally incapable of getting to be sophisticated and jaded and worldly.
