Dante always thought the kid was kind of quiet, but maybe he was acting a little strange? Dante dismissed the thought, as they were in the hot tub, and incredibly relaxed, so there was reason enough. Right?
"Very true." Dante said with a smile. "I had been thinking about taking a summer trip there. Probably only for a few days." He admitted as he handed Victor a few of the truffles. The only person he had recently given truffles to was his good friend Paige Guthrie. He felt bad that he hadn't hung out with her recently, and knew how much she loved chocolate.
"Oh it will last that long. You just have to know when to shower, and get inside the faculty showers. That helps a lot." Dante replied as he handed three of the six truffles to the boy. Poor Dante. Giving the poor kid Rum Truffles. He didn't have any others to share, and he certainly didn't have the four hours to make a new ganache to make new truffles. Most of the rum would have been cooked out anyways.
"There you go." He said as he popped one into his own mouth. "I made them this morning. Let me know if you like them, it is a new recipe." He said as he watched Victor's eyes intently. Dante always believed that the eyes didn't lie, and you could tell if someone liked something, in their eyes.
