Kitty was looking at the projection on the computer, shocked at how many different sites these people had claimed for their own. She knew mutants were hated and that there were definitely people against them, she just didn't realize how many. Maybe it was naivety or just an honest hope in their finally being more accepted. But this? This was disheartening. She listened as Scott and Tabby jumped right in with a want to go after these people and bit her tongue. A quick and swift attack was a knee jerk reaction, even if it was a justified one. But with as many cells of these people as there were and as few of the X-Men that were there, taking out one cell, even the main one, would only do so much damage.
"A quick strike is only a short-term solution." She felt a little awkward, speaking up and against Scott's advice. She'd looked to him as a leader for so long and bent to his calls that it almost seemed wrong to go against him. But she was an adult now, and active member of the team for the past eight years. It was time to remind everything that she wasn't sweet little Kitty anymore. "The attack on the school was widely publicized, even if watered down thanks to Emma. But if these guys are hit they're going to know who did it. People know who we are, they know what we do. And they're probably waiting for our retaliation. So, yeah, taking out the blue ball is a good idea, but then what? There are still all the other places. These people know what they're doing and I can't help but believe they're not stupid."
Blue eyes went to Laura with question. "How did you get all of this information?" it was very possible that she was given what they wanted her to know so that they knew exactly everything the X-Men knew about them and how to prepare. "I appreciate everyone's immediate want to go into battle, and that's what this will turn into, but we have to stop and think about a reasonable plan here." She swung in her her chair so she faced the group instead of the computers. "I'm not saying we sit around and strategize for eight weeks, but we have to be careful with this."
