Ororo looked up when Scott answered, smiling at him despite the circumstances of the meeting. She had a feeling it would be awhile before she stopped smiling every time he walked into the room. It was just so good to have him back. "Scott, of course you're part of this if you want to be. I wasn't sure if you were ready for it yet, which is why I didn't say anything to you in person. I didn't want to push you." He was the greatest team leader the X-Men had ever had and there was no doubt his perspective would be invaluable. But Ororo knew it would take some time before Scott felt like he had his bearings. The last thing she wanted to do was add to the weight he carried.
As Dante entered and greeted her, Ororo nodded to him and offered a friendly smile. "There's no need for formalities in here, Dante. Everyone else calls me Ro, but Ororo works just as well if that's too informal for you." She glanced up and returned Kitty's greeting as the younger woman entered, quickly returning her attention to Date. "How are you settling in? Everything going all right so far?" With everything that had been going on she'd yet to find time to sit down with Dante and check on him. Her crystalline eyes went to Kitty once more, remembering her offer. Perhaps it truly was time to make a decision.
Straightening her jacket, she greeted Warren as he entered as well. Half of the people she notified of the meeting were there. As soon as everyone else found their way in she could begin and the awkward silences would be dispelled.
