"Trust me, Kittens, you're no sidekick. You're as important to the team as anyone else. Don't let yourself think any different just because you might not be in a leadership position." This, from the young woman who worked way too hard so that she could one day lead the X-Men. The thing with Paige was that she could give good advice, but she never followed it herself. It was a flaw, but it was one she lived with. However, her thought process was interrupted when Kitty spoke to Warren. Immediately Paige turned beet red. If he didn't pick up on that hint from Kitty about how Paige felt about him, he had to be dumber than a brick. That was the only thing she could figure. Of course, Paige hadn't expected Kitty to come out and be all obvious about it either. Which was what had Paige blushing like she was.
Smiling at Kitty as she kissed the top of her head, Paige watched her leave and then sighed. Looking over at Warren, she cleared her throat. "Well, I guess I should go get some training in. See if I can... fix my flaws and weaknesses. I'll see you later?" She hadn't moved yet, but she knew she'd have to very soon. After all, she was still fighting a blush.
