Scott stood inside his own mind, listening to what the woman told him. As the Cabin was covered in a seal, he looked at her with a nod. "That should be fine. As long as I'm not constantly thinking about it." He looked around, seeing other memories had manifested. One was Jean, standing alone on an island with a lake. Standing guard with her was the mutant Magneto. Oddly, Scott decided that was the protector there.
Moving his sight over, he saw the blackbird jet with a few students moving around loading cargo. He assumed that was memories of his younger days at the School. He only knew this because there was a young Ororo and Hank moving into the jet. In a semi circle around the jet were other brotherhood members. Mystique, Toad, Sabertooth. All were the guardians of those thoughts.
It was odd for Scott to see what his mind decided to use to stop invasion. He was almost surprised that nothing was blocking the cabin. About the time he thought it, the lake began to bubble. It was almost as if it knew it was being blocked, and it's protector was a little late to respond. Either that, or his mind was a little slow to respond. He wasn't sure.
Looking over to Emma, then back to three bubbling masses in the water, he spoke in caution. "Is it done? Should we go?" Scott just assumed if she had the block in place, they could leave before the guardian arrived. As soon as he thought it, he saw what his protector of the cabin had manifested as.
Three large robots emerged from the water. They were sentinels. A worst case scenario in the danger room. Nothing they had actually encountered, but something they assumed would be the worst. As they rose, 20 foot tall monstrosities, Scott scanned quickly. He wasn't sure what he was looking for, but he had to take a quick look at other things of his mind.
Far off in the distance was a black glowing orb. It looked like black water, that was rippling and expanding slowly. Scott had no idea what is was, and saw nothing guarding it. It seemed to spin and glide around, growing slowly as it moved. He would need to ask about that later.
Looking back to Emma, he waited for her to tell him their escape plan.
