"I guess," Jean-Paul shrugged it off, not really agreeing with her but unwilling to argue about it. Every job was important and the only way he was coming to terms with this situation was to just keep telling himself that no one was seriously injured. Sure, they came away with some scrapes and bruises, all things that would heal in a few weeks. Nothing that required rehab or hospitalization...or death. It could have been much worse. "Uh, well," that was kind of true. However, Jean-Paul wasn't going to divulge in all the details. "Yeah, it was a little more than usual but we handled it. Peter's still there to help out but he'll be fine. I just couldn't stand the weather." Always lightening the mood with a few jokes.
"What? How dare he put off something so important. I'm going to have to give him a good talking to." While he was kidding with his tone, making Warren seem like a terrible person, he wasn't trying to downplay her dreams. "Nah, I'm sure he's still got it on his mind." He snorted at her compliment. "No idea what you're talking about. Natural elegance..." He trailed off until he was just whispering under his voice. Jean-Paul could run circles around any one of them, but he was sure they could all dance any sort of shape around him. Especially Kitty. "Either way, I'm not into dancing. I'll give the place a visit but no way will I actually join." Unless she wanted him to. Maybe.
"Huh," was all the comment he gave to her following story about Sean and Theresa and even X-23. Things had changed a lot and he wasn't surprised. Though he could catch up quickly, Jean-Paul was hardly a fan of change. In fact, it down right disturbed him sometimes. "At least that's something," he said in response to the room situation. As long as he sitll had a place to sleep and all that, he'd be happy enough. "Uh, what's so wrong with this Wade Wilson? What did he do to you?" Jean-Paul's eyebrow arched like it was a special talent, curious to know what the deal was.
