When she told him he was a leader because he knew his faults, he knew she was partially right. Still, it didn't feel right on some level. It was hard to explain, but Scott didn't feel whole yet. Maybe eventually he would be, but right now things were too jumbled.
When the question of Storm's leadership came up, he felt his eyebrow arch in confusion. Other than the school being blown up, Magneto living here, and a bunch of weird people running around she was doing fine. But when he got all that in once place of his mind, he saw what she was talking about. Before he could comment, she moved to the door and mentioned the next day.
"Uh...Alright." He said a little offended. When he left Ororo and Kitty, he took a shower and changed his clothing. Then found his old belongings in the storage area. To him, it was like she was saying he smelled odd. Maybe it was the wilderness still on him. To someone like Emma, the faintest scent might throw her nose off.
Shaking it off, he walked through her door again. He locked eyes with her, giving a faint look of thanks. "Thanks, Emma. I will come by tomorrow." And then went through the door. He had found an empty room, and claimed it. There was no battle for territory, he just placed his things inside. As he left, he had decided Emma Frost was the strangest woman he had ever known. And he dated an out of control telepath with a split personality of a demon god. But those ideas would be for another day.
