It was good to know he could find people if he needed to. But that wasn't a real issue for the moment. And oddly, Emma was right. Being paranoid wasn't something that looked good on him. The issue was, no one knew what caused this attack. He was more worried no one else was wondering about it. Things had changed around here, but the School still remained. As far as Scott knew, it always would in some form or another.
When she asked about taking a rightful place, he smirked slightly as he shook his head in the negative. "Probably not. Ororo seems to know what she is doing, and I have a history of going to a dark place when things go wrong." Which was true. When Jean died, he lost it. Now he had a fresh start, but he wasn't in any position to help take over anything. Maybe help out, but he wasn't a leader at the moment.
"But whenever you can help me shuffle my memories around, I would appreciate it." He wasn't sure about when she would be able to do this. If she wanted to go ahead and do it, he was ready. But Scott wasn't sure how big of a process it would take. There was no way of knowing what she was going to do. Scott knew how Charles and Jean would do things, but Emma was a different animal, and he was playing caution with her until she told him what the plan was.
