When she jumped at him with a hug, he allowed it. His arms squeezed gently, and a soft pat on her back before she moved away. Scott wasn't really one for a hug, but he was able to manage if someone else wanted to do so. As he listened to how the mansion got the way it was, he nodded but didn't really understand.
The girl had to be X-23. Something about her seemed a little odd. It reminded Scott of the stories about Logan before he came to the mansion. Of course, Logan never told Scott these stories. Jean told him when they were alone. What she had seen when she entered his mind, seemed like something out of a horror movie. He got the same vibe from Laura, but there was still hope with her. If Logan could be fixed, so could she.
As she mentioned Storm, he grinned a little, wondering what to make of Ororo being in charge. It was still odd to imagine, but she seemed to be doing fine for the past seven years. "That would be great. I really just need to settle in. Maybe find a telepath to help sort out my brain. It's still a mess in there."
And it really was. The only three telepathic mutant he knew were Xavier, who was dead...Jean, who was dead...and Emma Frost. He would need to set up an appointment with her once everything calmed down. As he looked down the hall in the direction that Kitty was, he assumed Ororo took over Xavier's office when he passed away.
"Yeah, if you could lead me down there. I just wanna get this whole 'Oh you are alive!" stuff over with." He laughed a little as he placed his hands in his pockets. "Never was one for touching reunions." But it did feel right to be back. It was nice to see people were glad he was alright. Still, the stiff soldier of Scott Summers still didn't feel all that comfortable with it.
