The festival had been an interesting one. Never had there been such a high profile murder for as long as Ethan Yamazaki could remember. It had inspired him greatly to take on a huge project. And this project would no doubt make his name well known. However, he had many hurdles to overcome. For one, he'd have to keep it a secret from his family because he knew they would try to stop him. This would be especially difficult since Ethan couldn't keep secrets very well. Another, he'd have to tell his editor about it but at first, he'd have to get a more specific story to show first. And finally, it was a bit dangerous. If he stuck his nose where it didn't belong, he could lose it. Admittedly, the last item got Ethan a bit excited, sort of an adrenaline rush.
This project Ethan thought about was to find out more about the underworld of New Alexandria and maybe uncover something that could help Aaron, his older brother. If not, it would be an interesting article or book or series of articles about what life was like for those who never saw the light of day. Of course Ethan wasn't one to really go into the underworld. The closest he got was to clubs. No, as much as he hated to admit it, he was a pampered rich boy. He didn't know street but he decided the best way to work on his project was try to blend in. He decided the best place to start would be a host club, the semi-underground.
Ethan wasn't much for host clubs. He felt it felt a bit phony. He rather he had a relationship and have it be serious. He went through his promiscuous phase in college. Now, he wanted something more meaningful. Host Clubs were just for fun. He pondered going to a hostess club but decided that he'd like eye candy he could appreciate and chose the Black Swan. Who knows, it could be fun! He dressed himself up pretty well for the evening wearing a pair black pants and a hot pink silk shirt. He accessorized with a few large rings, a black choker, and by spiking his hair with a few hair clips. As he entered the Black Swan, trying to come off as cool, like he did this before. Of course, that momentarily dropped as he took in the scenery around him.
"Whoa..." his mouth dropped as he looked around with wide eyes, that looked slightly cross-eyed. With his short stature and young looks, he momentarily looked like a lost high schooler. As much as Ethan didn't want to admit it, he stuck out. It was gorgeous and dark at the same time. He noticed one of the hosts walk by and he couldn't help but check him out. Ah yes, he was glad to have the eye candy! It seemed to be rather busy but it was a Saturday night. Ethan hoped he could find someone who he could talk to.
