WHO: Elijah, Parisa and Victoria. (Oh my!)
WHAT: "Business" meetings, drinks and general awesomeness.
WHEN: Thursday night
WHERE: Manhattan, upper east side.
RATING: TBA.

Some described it as a harmonic convergence happening, much like the rare moments when all the planets aligned or a solar eclipse occurred. Others described it as a sign of trouble to come, serving as an omen for the insanity that would follow them later on that night. But if you asked Elijah what things felt like as he sent out the string of text messages that would spark this gathering. He'd just say it was a playful energy that built up between them and eventually exploded onto the world around them.

Meeting up with Parisa for drinks to discuss her new business venture was one thing. Add Victoria to the mix and that was just a recipe for wild times waiting to happen. Sure Elijah did his hardest to separate himself from his former ways but around his two favorite party girls... well, the old Eli sometimes emerged to remind everyone he still knew how to have fun. Even if it meant waking up with a stranger in his bed from time to time. But really folks, the former bad boy was reformed now. Well... mostly.

The proposition was simple enough: the triad of awesome (as they were formally known) was to meet up at Geisha House. Manhattan's latest offering for the elite club-slash-restaurant realm. The restaurant was outfitted like some of the classic tea houses from Japan with the waitresses dressed up in the classic garb as they offered the best food the upper east side had to offer. Well, for now. But of course like most establishments Geisha House had some of the best DJ's spinning the hottest tracks in their private club that catered to those who wanted to get on the floor and shake what their momma gave them. What was there not to love about it? It was classic blended with contemporary!

The gathering was a great break in the hustle and bustle that had been Eli's life lately. He genuinely loved his job but with the struggle of expanding his foundation to a new location stressing him out, the boy finally reasoned that perhaps it was time he take a night out on the town. Or so Warren and Betsy instructed him on the phone. Seriously, who conference called their own son to tell him he needed a break? It also didn't help that the news of the tragedy was still heavy in the media, or that prick Tobias felt the need to try to put him through the ringer again. As much as he tried to laugh off the gossip that was created about him, Eli sometimes just wanted to pierce Tobias' spinal cord with one of his arrows. Especially if meant shutting the asshole up for a moment.

But no, Eli was different now. He was more mature and tried not to let the bottom feeders and the general upset of the world bring him down. Still, could the boy be blamed for being human and needing a night out to forget his worries?

Instead of paying more attention to all the things that had been on his mind lately, Elijah focused on his outing with the girls. Tonight was to be about fun and damn it, he was going to make sure that mission was accomplished. So once he left the office and flew (yes flew) to his home, he made sure to make himself presentable. He knew they each drew attention to themselves naturally but put the triad all together and well, Eli wouldn't be surprised if their pictures ended up in X Magazine the following week. So he dressed for attention, slipping on his favorite jeans that made his ass look amazing and a form fitting button down that came from the SPLICE spring collection. (Sometimes it rocked having a certain hook up.) As Elijah stepped out of his apartment he felt and knew he looked good. Making sure to have everything he need for the night: his wallet, phone and the number to the family lawyer programed on auto dial. Yep, he was set to go.

The commute to Geisha House was uneventful and thankfully no photographers trailed after him trying to search for their next big scoop. He didn't have the patience for them right now, but he was bound to change his tune after a few drinks. Elijah was the first to arrive to the club and instantly more of his old nature was evoked. He was still his kind self and polite to people, but there was more of a flirtatious nature to him. A part of him that knew how to charm people into giving him what he wanted. Waiting for a table? Psh! No such thing for the young heir, instead he flirted with the host and mentally nudged him before a second later he was being shown to one of the best tables in the house. Oh yes, slowly but surely Elijah was retrograding to his old ways.

"Thank you," he said to the waitress who seated him. He could hear those thoughts spiraling around in an infectious buzz. Fuck, chances are she recognized him. Eli played it cool and reasoned he was the first of the group to arrive as he took his seat, settling in as he placed his drink order. "Irish trash can, please. Perhaps you can recommend a good appetizer for me to try out?" he asked as he offered the girl a million-watt smile. Oh yes he was flirting with the waitress who giggled bashfully at him in her geisha garb. It was his way of ensuring they got the best service of the night and perhaps of entertaining himself while he waited.

When his drink arrived Elijah took the first ceremonial sip of the night, the bitter alcohol burning it's way down his throat as he glanced around. Some people eyed him, others looked at him like he was underdressed. Elijah brushed off those thoughts buzzing around him and instead focused on relaxing for the night. He could hear the distant sound of music pulsing a little further into the restaurant, part of him itching to get out there and drown in the beats. Perhaps with a cute stranger, perhaps with his girls. It didn't matter. Eli kept working on his drink as his mind kept absently reaching out until he locked onto a thought pattern that felt familiar. Oh, seemed his company arrived and now the games could truly begin.

Eli might have wanted to pop in undetected, but Parisa sure as hell didn't. She wasn't even sure she fit the dress code for this place, not bothering to have called ahead. It didn't matter. The little black dress was universal...not that she was wearing that. No, Parisa was in something nice and green tonight; the color of what she intended to spend. The design was something you loved or hated. She wasn't sure how she felt about it, but she was sure someone was gonna talk about it tomorrow, and that's all that mattered. She didn't look like a hot mess, but she looked more like she was going out for a night on the town than a high class bar/restaurant deal. Her hair was down, and she had on some over-sized aviator glasses. The yellow-tinged lenses did little to shield her eyes from the flash of cameras, not that she cared.

She ate it all up, posing just as she got near the door, holding up the line.

Once inside, she hadn't expected the place to look as nice as it did. Her glasses were slid up, before being removed and placed in her purse. She thought of maybe just walking in and wandering around and getting to know people, but she wasn't here for that. She was here on business, which was important. It wasn't just that, she was here to hang out with two of her besties, and they were more important than pandering to fans any day of the week.

Having waved down a waitress, she asked to be directed towards Eli's table. The woman gave her a look, but Parisa was polite enough to stand up a little straighter and return the sentiment in kind. She was so fired later, or would be if Parisa remembered whoever the hell this irrelevant little thing was. She probably would. If there was anything she didn't tolerate, it was a worker sucking at their job.

"Hey, good lookin'." She greeted Eli silkily, slipping into the booth beside him. She leaned over to place a kiss on his cheek. "I'll have what he's having." She informed the waitress before turning her attention back to her friend. "It's been a while, yes? Too long you say? I couldn't agree more. Should do this more often." Just knocking all the smalltalk out of the way so they could get down to business and/or fun. "Wonder what's taking Vicky so long."

Vic had this problem where if she worked at something long enough she would forget the time totally. When she realized she had to meet Pari and Eli at the Geisha House she had ten minutes to get ready. Why did she do this to herself? She ran into the back room of her studio where she had pretty much been living the past month and through of a piece from her collection and a ton of jewelry before bounding down the stairs and hailing a cab.

Once she stepped out the cab camera’s where flashing, making it look like the middle of he day. People were asking all sorts of questions like ‘do you have plans for your new collection’ ‘will they be shown in Milan or Pragu?’ She just smiled and walked past them knowing is she gave them anything Toby Shaw would have it run tomorrow morning.

She finally made it into the Geisha House and moved quickly past people until she spotted Pari in a green dress and Eli in one of her suits. Tonight should be good, she had her black Ammex on her and she was sure she could write tonight off as a business expense seeing how Eli and Pari always wore her designs. She sat down, curly hair flying offering them a big smile. “Let’s get this party started!” When the waitress came over with their drinks she ordered a double scotch and coke and getting shot a dirty look. “What? Are people with unlimited credit cards frowned upon now?” She grinned and looked at her two best friends, wondering what they had in store for her now.

It was funny how a matter of a few years could change a person's perspective of things. If things would've retrograded to the past, Elijah would've been right there with the girls making his entrance well-known and heard about. Now? Now he was more subtle about things. However one thing always remained in tact with the young heir, his playful nature. Paris came into the room in her flirtatious manner, having all eyes on her as she snuck into his booth. He had to give the girl props, she knew how to work the room. Eli reciprocated the small kiss on her cheek as he beamed brightly at the blond.

"Hello love'," his voice carried the faint twinge of an English accent. A sign that the alcohol was slowly evoking his mother's influence. "You look stunning and yes it's been too long, we should do this more often." The pleasantries were quickly thrown out of the way like last year's fashions. Small talk with an old friend? Puh-lease! When the questioned turned onto the whereabouts of the third musketeer, Elijah politely shrugged as he polished off his drink. Motioning to the waitress that he needed another one as Paris ordered her's. "You know Vicky, she's probably attached herself to her sewing machine again. The girl loses track of time when she's busy creating haute couture." He couldn't fault the girl for having a passion in life, he often did the same with his own work.

While the pair got reacquainted Elijah's mind kept lingering in the ether around him, such subconscious exploration evoked the use of that usual charge of psionic energy around him. It wasn't as pent up as it was usually and unknowingly Elijah's hair tinted into it's purple hue as he picked up on another familiar thought pattern entering the room. "We got company in 3, 2.... 1." As Eli counted down to the final number Victoria turned the corner and her presence came into view. Eli grinned brightly at Parisa as his mind gently pressed against the blonde's in an equivalent of a mental-hug, a sign he was growing more affectionate.

With Vicky finally making it to their table in a ceremonious cry of the night, Elijah couldn't help but let his spirits soar. "Well finally the life of the party arrives. If we had to wait any longer Paris and I would've had to have an actual business meeting." Gasp. The horror!

Eli offered a warm hug and courteous kiss to the cheek to Victoria as she reacquainted herself with the group. The pair settling in as the newcomer ordered her drink. Eli chuckled at the girl's comment about the waitress who seemed to be one step away from shooting daggers due to the arrival of his guests. Oh honey, if only she knew what side of the fence Eli was on her jealousy would've been more faux-paus. "She's just jealous that she can't wear one of your pieces." He coyly said with a wink to keep her from unleashing her wrath on the waitress.

The waitress returned with the drink and the appetizer Eli had ordered. Nothing better to start off things than some ginger-tuna spring rolls. (He had no clue what they were, but who was he to turn down food?) As the waitress dropped off their food Eli spoke up for the group. "Ok, now that we're all here, I believe the night can truly begin. Tequila shots ladies?" he looked between the pair with a look that had his horns coming out. Oh yes the devil was out tonight.

With the next round of drinks waiting to arrive, Eli turned to the girls with interest. He looked at Paris with a narrowed eyes (all in jest, of course) as he started off the inquiry. "So what's this I hear about you starting a record label, going pop princess on us?" his tone was playful but there was a supportive edge to his words. "And you V? Still becoming the second-coming of Coco Chanel?" he asked with an equally warm tone. "Which reminds me, I ran into your brother the other day." Quite literally. Eli absently wondered when did Chris get that cute. The thought was cast aside since he was sure there was an unspoken rule on such thoughts about someone you grew up being taboo. Now that the trio was reunited Elijah found himself shoving everything on his mind aside and becoming genuinely excited for their outing. Even if he was determined to get the girls out on the dance floor by night's end. Not that it would take much convincing.

Oh, Eli. He had no idea what he did to her, did he? Maybe he did, but his voice put her in a bit of a heavenly state. The slight accent only made her smile. It was a strange world when your ideal lifemate was completely unobtainable. You just didn't get any closer to perfect than Eli, not that Parisa would dwell on it too much. There were far too many happy distractions to enjoy. She couldn't picture herself settling down that well anyway, not even for him. Didn't mean his compliments didn't hold weight, because she was practically grinning at being told that she looked stunning no less! "Why thank you," she preened. "Don't look too bad yourself."

She was about to say something in response to his comment about Vicky and her unnatural attachment to her sewing equipment, but noticed his hair change color. Parisa was annoyed with herself for not being used to it now, but it never ceased to make her giggle. Just as he had began to count down, she turned just in time to see the other woman pull around the corner and into view. The sight of her closest female friend accompanied with the mental hug had caused Parisa to relax exponentially into her seat, before thwapping Eli for his comment about actually doing business.

This is how they did business, because all the good ideas came out after they were probably too far gone to remember them. That's why she usually went home with napkins shoved in her pockets! Lots of napkins with sloppily written things on them. She thought of investing in a notepad or something, but it was much more aesthetically pleasing to look at a cork board tacked with various bar/club logos.

"Oh please, Eli. We know why she's really jealous." She said playfully pinching his side...or what side there was to actually pinch. "You've been gone for quite some time, V, if you've forgotten that much." She teased. "Not going pop princess. It's just a lot of bands I like aren't getting any deals because they aren't money makers, you know? Want to produce some real quality albums instead of all the commercial bullshit." Whoa? Did she just get serious? "Wow, yeah I need a couple of drinks in me." She said grabbing the drink the woman brought with the appetizer and downing it in one go. She probably should have paced herself, but she was playing catch up.

"So Miss Summers, when does my wardrobe get an update?" She didn't only wear Vicky's line, but it made up a good majority of her closet. The woman had an impeccable eye for colors and patterns, and she knew Parisa well enough to pick the designs that complimented her well. Needless to say, the girl had a lot of faith in her friend.
