hello world! i'm marin and as an english major, i'm inclined to ask: what is your favorite book (or books) of all time?

i can't remember the last time i read an actual book that wasn't required reading, so i guess i'll give have to go with gadsby by ernest vincent wright. i spent literally hours staying up and trying to find the letter e somewhere, as if i'd be the first dude to find something a million other people conveniently overlooked

you already know mine, but i guess i'll state anyway... "the catcher in the rye" by jd salinger and "johnny got his gun" by dalton trumbo. there are others, but they're the only two i can think of right now. i really dig "franny and zooey," "the great gatsby," and anything by thomas harris (he wrote the hannibal books).
