WELCOME TO NEW BOSTON;
It's the year 2052. The world has reverted back to the industrial age since The War. There is still technology, but the world has become more of a scrap heap than anything else. That's why people don't find moving appealing anymore - if everything is basically the same, why leave the city you're in?

New Boston, however, is a place where people can get away from the monotonous tone of the world. Though, it's basically the same scrap pile as the rest of the world, at least there is a pretty cover-up. New Boston has been build on a plate over the "old" Boston, making the city look slightly glamorous in all the decay. Think New York in it's prime here. However, underneath the plate, the same decay dwells as it does all around the world and, unfortunately, most people are stuck living down in these sunless depths.

IMMIGRATION;
Technology has brought about vasts amounts of people from different worlds; no one knows the origin of this technology, but rumor has it there is a device buried deep beneath Old Boston that is bringing this "off-worlders" or "offers" to New Boston. The issue is that most of these people cannot leave the city, despite any abilities they may have. Again, no one has an explanation for this, but there are rumors that there is some connection back to that fabled machine in the underground.

STYLE;
The style of this time is a 1920s/1940s style with modern themes.
