"Specialists" was certainly the right word. After the Accident in 2000, Reed Richards, Susan Storm, Jonathan Storm and Benjamin Grimm had definitely become "specialists" in the field of Weird.
The door of the quarantine opened with a hiss to let half of the Fantastic Four enter the sealed space. From the observations he had been making for the past day and a half, Dr. Reed Richards had determined that the Major was in no way radioactive (nor, as some suggested, 'contagious') and therefore safe to be around others without the use of a HazMat suit... however he still wore his long sleeved suit made of unstable molecules, complete with black boots, gloves, and a blue-on-white circled "4" on the chest. The unstable molecules could cope with minor degrees of radiation and would protect both him and Susan from whatever toxins might still be present. It was only a precaution until the Major could be completely evaluated and cleared.
A security clearance badge bearing his name was clipped to his lab coat and clearly marked him as a civilian consultant.
"Major Danvers?" He asked, standing back to give Carol space to continue to do push-ups. "I'm Dr. Reed Richards, this is my colleague," Reed gestured to the lovely blond with him -- and no, he didn't think it was necessary to tell anyone the status of their relationship, not even that he'd proposed a little over two weeks ago, "Dr. Susan Storm. We'd like to speak to you regarding the incident which occurred last week. Could you spare a few moments of your time?" Reed asked, politely.
