Who: Loki, Wiccan, later Ravager, NPC Disir
Where: New York City
When: February 20, 2014, night
What: Loki, you remember Billy, don't you? No, of course not. And that's enraging. Loki gets the Norn Stones back.
Rating: R for likely cursing and graphic violence.
The more magic Billy did, the more the Disir closed in on the scent, tracing the wisp of Norn Stone magic that mingled with the chaos magic so innate to the young mutant. It had made them so perfectly well hidden, but the longer they were kept, the more erratic his magic, and the more noticeable they were becoming.
Finally they dogged along in his shadows, a creepy sense of hunger and bloodlust that itched at the edge of the senses. But they waited till it was night and Billy was flying on his own.
Then the God of Mischief dropped on him.
It was much like a mockingbird snatching a songbird out of the air. The strike came from above, Loki sending them careening down to the the top of a building while his hand clamped over the teen's mouth, bruising his jaw. Then the giant-blooded Asgardian slowed just before they struck the rooftop, dropping the last few inches and keeping his hand gripped about Billy's mouth.
A tilt of his horned helm, frowning, a motion of his hand and ethereal threads appeared around them. And one clearly joined them.
Loki's looked disconcerted, then suddenly the realization dawned. That grin flashed to his face, once, twice, then a full out laugh. The threads faded from view. "Oh, I knowest thou." He released Billy's mouth from his iron grip. "My little faithful student! Why," Loki's grin was sinister now, a red glow from his eyes briefly lighting up his face and the horns, the rage under his skin betrayed despite the wide smile. "I had all but forgotten thee."
