Who: Connor Hawke, Spider-Woman, open to Cap and SHIELD agents observing.
Where: Training facility
When: November 12, 2013, early early morning.
What: Connor comes into work to a surprise. "Do this, do this, and do this. By the way, you're against Spider-woman."
Rating: Action!
Connor was used to odd hours, thankfully. With his meditation, he could recover from lack of sleep much more aptly than some. So when he was called in, he showed up swiftly enough, going to the address in question (a good thing he had taken driving lessons and being 3 a.m. meant little traffic). Although, honestly, he was not sure what to expect or what he was doing here. It looked like a huge warehouse of some sort.
An agent approached him. "Good, you're in gear. Walk with me." Connor fell into swift step beside him, confused as the agent handed him a new quiver and held a hand out to accept his normal one. He fumbled a bit to hand it over. "You have one objective here," the agent explained swiftly as they approached the door. "At the North end of the facility is a gray electronic box on the outside of a building." The deputy handed Connor a small electronic device, fairly flat with a rounder top and a magnetic back. "This needs to be placed directly on it. However, there are three guards in between here and there in which you will need to remain unseen from. If they see you, they will shoot you down and the mission is over. Furthermore, we have received intel that an opposing agency has another member on the way. You are to get our device on the box first. Understood?"
"Wait, is this a-?"
"Good," the agent cut him off, opening the door to a long dark hall. "Now." Connor stepped past him, blinking and frowning, mentally catching up as the door shut behind him. His eyes adjusted quickly and he recounted the information in his head as he moved forward. The room suddenly opened up, revealing a maze of plants, walls, tall bright lamps here and there and scaffolding where he could see the back of a guard slowly walking with a rifle. There was another scaffolding even above that, but it was obviously for observation and not part of the 'game'.
Then there was a rustle, and he looked to the left, some thirty meters away. Oh boy. He only saw the briefest glimpse of the costume, but he somehow knew instantly who it was. So he pinned the device into his belt even as he started to run, making his way among two narrow walls.
