Who: Piotr Rasputin, Open to All What: Piotr returns to Xavier's after an extended summer vacation. Where: Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, Manchester, NY When: Friday, October 12 [Forward dated] Rating: PG
The flight had been long and uncomfortable with small seats and little leg room- Piotr had appreciated the several hour lay overs in Casablanca and New York City, at least they'd given him a chance to stretch his legs. He'd managed to hop a short flight to Salem from which he took a cab into Manchester. He was at that stage of jet lag where tired didn't even begin to describe it. Exhaustion didn't quite sum it up either because although his body was tired, Pete's mind was still crisp-- and happy to be back... to be home, or at least in the last place that still felt like home. While it was only a little past six in the evening here in New York, Pete's body - still on Moscow time- thought it was nearly three AM.
He let out a monstrous yawn which his hid in his shoulder as he paid the cap driver, collected his suitcase and backpack before heading up the long drive to the door which was, seemingly, always open. He swung one of the large double doors open and stepped inside, careful to wipe the travel mud off of his feet on the outdoor mat before setting foot over the threshold. He set his suitcase down to close the door behind him with one hand and a foot, looking around for anyone he might recognize.
