Bart looked at Kara and smiled. He was glad. Like... super glad. She liked him too. That was awesome. Like... a lot awesome.
"Cool." He said, not quite knowing what was supposed to happen next. Carefully, he reached out to take her hand and walked towards the edge of the mountain to sit where they could look out and see the city in the distance.
He didn't stop holding her hand once they'd sat, and folded his legs up under him Indian Style. "So uh... I guess I've got something to tell you." He paused for a minute, looking away and trying not to frown though he still felt a little sullen about this topic, "My Grandma and Grampa that I was living with kinda... left? So I had to move; and I was gonna move in with Jay-- he's like... I don't know, a friend of the family and all? but he lives in Keystone. And I didn't want to go back to Keystone... so I moved in with my cousin. Because he lives in Metropolis too." Bart didn't actually say that he wanted to stay in Metropolis because Kara was there. But he kind of hoped she could see that.
He also hoped she'd share the cookies soon because they looked really yummy.
