Who: Linda Park & Bart Allen
Where: West Home
When: June 20th
What: Linda and Bart hang out for a bit.
Rating: PG
“Lindaaaaaaaaaaaah!” Bart called before taking off, zipping around the house at super speed and poking his head into every room he came by, “Linda? Linda. Linda? Liinnnndaaaaa!” He sing-songed the last call of her name, buzzing around like a neurotic fly on speed.
-----
Linda was in the closet in the room nearest the end of the house. It was a walk-in, and the door was open but the light was off. She didn't need it for what she was looking for. She was pulling out a few extra sheets to change the bed when the sound came zooming into the house. First she thought it was Wally, but the voice attached to it was very different. It was younger and higher pitched. If she wasn't used to Wally zipping around, she would've been startled or alarmed. Instead, she stuck her head out of the closet to confirm who she saw.
"I'm in the back room," she said to alert him to her location. The bed had been stripped and the sheets were in the basket. It'd been a while since she'd bothered to do housework. It was always Wally's job to do things around the house. She was a little alarmed wondering why Bart was in their house. She thought he was going to leave with Barry and Iris.

“Linda! You’re home!” Bart cheered, suddenly in the back room. “Hi!” He called, looking around at the laundry that she was doing. He quirked his head to one side, pointing at the folded sheets, “Isn’t that Wally’s job?”
Even Bart knew who wore the pants in this house (or at least the pants that weren’t made of Goes Fast).
----
Bart moving into their home had been ane experience, but she wouldn't begrudge him. He had made friends and she couldn't argue that he should stay and keep them. It would give him a nice normal experience as a 21st century kid. When Wally had brought it up to her, she was a little skeptical about taking care of a child, but Bart was old enough to somewhat care for himself.
"Personal day," she confessed as she took hold of a corner of the folded sheets. With a yank, she let it fly out over the bed. "Give me a hand?"
