Billy walked over to the machine and inserted a few quarters before sitting down. Funny how the arcade was where he did most of his driving. He had a car. It wasn't anything special, but at least it was his. He also had his license. But this was New York City. Often times, it was just easier and quicker to take the bus or the subway or walk, which was why Billy didn't get to drive nearly as much as he'd like to. At least they made video games for it. While it wasn't the same, it was still as enjoyable.
"I have a car," Billy offered offhandedly as they began playing. "A Focus, actually. But I only have a stupid junior license right now, so I can't be driving until all hours of the night. At least, here in a month when I turn seventeen, I'll be able to get that fixed. Full license..." He turned a sharp corner in the game, almost losing control of the car. "... no restrictions. It'll be nice."
