Who: Bart Allen, Tommy Shepherd
What: Speedster training. Bart's the teacher (we're all doomed)
Where: An old, currently unused paintball course outside of NYC
When: Thursday, May 17, after school [back dated]
Rating: PG
Twitter was the most reliable way to reach Kid Flash. Bart had even had his Kid Flash twitter verified so that if there was something bad happening, people could tweet it to him and he and the Flash could go stop it. Interactive crime fighting, it was the wave of the future.
Actually, it probably wouldn't last. Bart didn't remember anything about interactive crime fighting in the future- but maybe he was inventing it here and now so that the next time he went "home" to the future, it would be the case.
Maybe the Legion and his cousin Jenni would all be like "Oh Bart you were the best hero from the 21st century! Way cooler than Superboy or Supergirl (or whoever it was that the Legion was always gaga about)."
This and so much more danced through Bart's head as he sat on top of one of the dug outs that counted as home base in this old paintball course- its oversized and colorful obstacles taking up the majority of the field it was built on. Bart liked this place for its uniqueness, and its "obstacle course" feel; but also because no one came out here anymore. It was the perfect place for him to impart some knowledge on a fellow speedster.
Kid Flash, dressed in his full costume, sat around waiting (impatiently) for his student to arrive. Grampa was going to be so proud of him for teaching someone about the Speed Force and how to control their speed and all that-- and he was going to do it all on his own too! Just like Grampa Barry would have done!
