Conner was late. He'd stopped to help out with a robbery. Life as a teen superhero made keeping a schedule and punctuality a wee bit difficult. He landed a block away from Megan's house, and did a quick change out of suit -- which mostly meant slipping off the black shirt, stuffing it in his bag, and slipping on a blue muscle shirt. He had left his costume at home because, for the most part, Superman had a handle on the immediate emergencies.
Slinging his back across his chest, he began the trek to Megan's home. By the time he got there, he was surprised to find his "cousin" there as well. Did she know his prom date? Conner didn't know here very well. Not, really. She was nice, though. A little weird. But nice. Normally, he'd skip the teen socializing, but since they were going to prom, he figured it would be best to spend a little more time with her.
"Uh, hi," he said as he pushed up his glasses. "You know my cousin?"
