"Oh, Neville, it's beautiful!" Ginny held the necklace up to the light, examining the jewel inside carefully. Peridot, her birthstone, shined brightly back at her.

Neville flushed a shade of crimson. He ducked his head, smiling bashfully. "You really like it?" he questioned, though the pleased smile on her face said she did. The necklace might've been a bit girly for the Quidditch star, but she would look lovely in it, he knew.

"It's perfect. Oh, here." She thrust a hastily wrapped package. He already knew what would be inside. The same variety pack of seeds she'd gotten him every year.

But it was the thought that counted. "Thanks, Gin," he said, carefully unwrapping it and saving the tag on top.
