Neville stood close to Bill, their fingers intertwined, not really listening to the speeches that were being delivered. When the Board of Governor's had suggested a memorial be built to honour those who had fallen in the final battle, the arguments about the style of monument had been emotion-filled.
A simple black marble square was erected near Dumbledore's tomb with the names of all of those who had lost their lives carved onto the sides.
The speeches over, Bill walked slowly around the monument, pausing to trace his fingers over FRED WEASLEY.
Neville knew tonight Bill's demons would be back.
