WHO Tinsel, Luna (with special guests) WHEN Thursday night WHERE Around Brookyln WHAT a daring rescue(??)(!!) WARNINGS violence, blood, etc
Tinsel sat up in her bed.
“Right,” she said, throwing off the covers and going to her drawers to pull out some clothes.
Lying around doing nothing wasn’t going to help anyone, and it definitely wasn’t going to help Luna. With a grunt, she wiggled into a pair of black jeans, with a long-sleeved black tee, and grabbed a black beanie, a red scarf and mittens, and a wool coat to pull on as she headed down the stairs.
Henry was in the living room, talking with Iestyn, and she poked her head in. “I’m going out for a bit. I’ll be back later. Hey, your phone is in your pocket, yeah? In case I need anything?”
There was some regret in not telling Henry what she planned to do, but the man was scared of the dark, and he had a friend over; she didn’t want to freak him out with all of this. She would text him if going to Illunis turned anything up. It probably wouldn’t, but no harm in asking, and also no harm in not getting any hopes up. She chewed her lip as she rode in the cab, and every woman wearing black that she passed became Luna, just for a moment.
It was a bit early for the club to be open. Tinsel looked up at the building. Clubs looked so weird in the daytime, like when you see your teacher at the mall. Just didn’t fit. She went up to the door and cupped her hands so she could see inside. “Heeey, anyone in? Hellooooo?” Was that movement in there? Tinsel knocked rapidly on the glass, shouting for attention. “Hi! I just need to talk for a second! Heeeey!” Whoever it was stopped, and looked around, and she waved frantically. “Please! Just for a minute!”
