WHO: Hel [narrative/open to Fenrir and Jörmungandr] WHEN: Saturday evening WHERE: Hel's apartment WHAT: In this little enclave of the lost
The apartment Hel lived in had never been made with three people in mind, and even less was it suited for a large wolf, a large snake and a half-dead thing, not unless they were the sort of monsters that had no concept of personal space and didn't mind sharing their every breath with each other.
How fortunate that the children of Loki were just those monsters. Always Jörmungandr was there with her, but sometimes Fenrir left to tend to his sons and hunt through the woods. Hel would miss him when she was gone and dig all the closer into the bony human body of her snake-brother. But then Fenrir would return and it would be the three of them, all sleeping curled together in a bed that wasn't built for three. But Hel, despite being a tall woman, seemed to be able to slip herself into the smallest spaces between her brothers, spaces where she was warm and safe and protected, as though she were the serpent-sister. She rubbed her torn and rotten face against their chests, leaving her scent on them like she was wolf-sister as well.
When morning came Hel still had to leave them, going to work the job that kept the roof above them and food in the cupboards. But always she returned, restless to be pressed against them again. So long alone in the cold and now Hel couldn't resist the warmth of her brothers. Odin hadn't allowed this. Odin had told them all they would never be together, but now they were.
Their trickster father was distant and strange, but her brothers she understood without words. They were three that were one, parts of a whole together at last.
Evening inched through the city like tar and once again Hel returned home, locking the door behind her and peeling off the face the world demanded she wear. Only here was she beautiful, only here was she perfect with her perfect brothers.

He was hopelessly behind on what mortals did or liked, or anything regarding them but he didn't try to fit in. He liked his comfort. He'd spend too long in one spot to change habits now.
He had his siblings. He really didn't need more.
He was slowly becoming used to being in this form. He'd had some minor success with going back to a snake, which he'd felt sad about as it had not been as long as he once was But the mortal guise had it's uses.
He smiled to his sister, watching the television with interest. It was still such an odd thing for him, but it taught him many things as well.

"Is it interesting?" she asked, watching the movements of the TV but not taking much in.
