WHO Merlin, Peitho WHEN Wednesday evening WHERE Peitho’s apartment WHAT Negotiation for an ongoing arrangement WARNINGS prooobably smut
Merlin thought of the last time he’d entered this elevator and ridden it up the building to get out at Peitho’s penthouse apartment. He wasn’t heading towards a fascinating party culminating in an epic acid trip with the muse of the heavens, but he had a feeling he would enjoy the outcome of this visit quite well too. He was dressed well, if he wasn’t too bold to think it, in a dark purple three piece suit with a pink paisley tie. He liked to make a statement, and suits were always in fashion.
He carried a book wrapped in brown paper under his arm as a gesture towards his hostess- an original 1828 printing of The Lustful Turk by John Benjamin Brookes, which he thought she might find interesting. It was a little risky, considering the subject matter, but he thought she might find it intriguing as an artifact, and it had just been lying around in his library, untouched for decades.
As the doors slid open, Merlin stepped out into the foyer of the apartment, calling out a greeting to his hostess.
