Much and Peitho - after midnight
Much was never going to admit he was a little bit freaked out. Being a bit freaked out was great! Made things interesting! A life of never being at all freaked out was a life not worth living!
Watching someone he knew turn into the moon was new, though. And there was something happening in his belly that felt like... a warning?
Much ignored it. Almost everyone else around him was watching the spectacle and he couldn't let himself get distracted by the godly shenanagans. He slipped away - looking around for Leila, but she wasn't back from the bathroom - taking his chance to really poke around.
He avoided the mast bedroom - he'd been past it a couple of times tonight, and it always had people in it (though they were all, usually, busy with each other) but down the hall was a smaller bedroom and this one for the moment was empty, and as far from the rest of the party as he could get.
Keeping a careful ear out, he made his way around the room, looking for small things that wouldn't show if (when) he put them in his pockets.
