WHO Marian & Robin WHEN Directly after this one WHERE Tuck's parsonage WHAT I guess we should talk... WARNINGS tba (possible mentions of domestic violence?)
Marian knew that she'd been distant since Guy had made his entrance to the city they'd made their own. She couldn't help it. She was sure at any minute Guy was going to tell one of the Merry Men what had happened between them, and they would come to her with 'but that's not true, is it, Marian?' and she would be unable to lie to them about it.
Unable to lie to Robin about it.
And every day the guilt and the shame grew worse and worse, and every day she was just waiting for the inevitable to happen.
So when Robin slipped out the back door for some air, Marian followed, ready to rip the band-aid off.
In the glow from the street light Robin's profile was illuminated and Marian watched him for a long moment. She knew that Robin knew she was there. Maybe he was waiting for her to speak.
"You okay?" she finally asked him. She knew he wanted revenge for Tuck and it hadn't turned out that way.
