Who:The Antichrist
What: Being a failure mostly but also plans
When: Saturday night
Where: In his car, outside Victor's house
Warnings/Notes: Mentions of torture and rape
It wasn't until his experience with failing to torture Saint George and Wrath, that Joshua even realised there was anything wrong. He had gone about his life, quite happy to take the easy road and make others do all the work. But when his father had expected him to get a job done, the only thing he had been able to accomplish was raping Wrath. And that had only really been because he had spent the months leading up to that hitting on her and having her ignore him.
He was a failure at torture and it wasn't like he could take a torture class to get better at it...
That was why a year ago he had taken Nicholas Rowland and starved him. Joshua wanted to know the mechanics of it, and what going without food did to a mortal. He still wanted to do it to a saint next, but he was going to have to bide his time with that one. Saints were pretty well protected.
The one thing he did learn from watching his Father take over the torture of George and Wrath, was that hurting them directly never seemed to cause as much pain as hurting one of them in front of the other. It was something he had been dwelling on since then, even though it had been years ago now.
His father had since grown tired of the world and gone back to reside in Hell for the forseeable future, which he was known to do every few decades. Joshua knew that now was the best time to practice and learn, without his father standing over him, reminding him what a failure he was.
As much as he tried to pretend those words didn't hurt him, they rather did...
And that was why he was sitting outside Victor Brannigan's house in his car, sipping on a chocolate truffle-flavoured mocha. Victor was well known as the archangel Michael's precious little pet, and most of the denizen of Hell considered him too well protected to go anywhere near him. However, when Beelzebub had brought up the idea of getting to the mortal, Joshua figured if he could pull it off, then just maybe his parents might praise him. And damn it all to home, he really wanted that praise!
Beyond that, there was much he could learn from Victor, as long as there was someone else in the mix too. Which was where the raven-haired pregnant girl came in. Getting to her would be easy though. Victor was the one with an angelic watchdog. And so Joshua hovered and hoped for the perfect time to snatch the mortal away.
