If it had been up to Orestes he would never have to deal with the Furies ever again. He had been acquitted by Athena herself, had he not? So why did they have to continually toy with him? He wanted to live his life in peace. He was thankful that at least he now had others who understood what he had gone through and why it was so important for him to keep his distance. They were also useful to help keep him from feeling like he was lose his mind all over again. He was relieved when Pylades picked him up because it meant he wouldn't have to make the trip alone. Orestes in the night, walking the streets alone thinking the Furies were after him would not have ended well.
He didn't say anything on the ride over, nor when Electra ushered them inside. He followed suit without question and just stood there in the kitchen for a moment. He very vividly imagined those three harpies busting down the door and coming after him. It made him shiver and he began pacing near the entrance to the kitchen. There were a lot of what ifs going through his head.
Orestes was clearly freaking the fuck out. He couldn't let them get him again. Athena had helped him once, surely she would see the madness in going after him now considering he hadn't committed any crimes in this lifetime.
