Orestes frowned, nodding in agreement, "It was quite depressing. At the time I missed it so much I thought I could look passed what it had turned into. I realized I missed the people and the memories more than the places themselves. Life was empty without everyone I loved and moving on was difficult."
He nodded as he listened to her recount her own arrival to this country. He did remember feeling very detached from the world, the feeling of not belonging, the need to find his family. He figured it was similarly for others like them, but that didn't make it any easier. He brought her hand closer and kissed the top gently, "I'm sorry you went through it alone. I swear to you that you will never have to search for me again."
