Svetlana was sitting in the back room of the hotel cafe, jiggling her leg up and down rapidly. They were really doing this. They were going to go back into the house Svetlana had been held in for five years, and liberate the girls who were locked up there. She was nervous as hell and she had barely slept at all. Michael and Azrael were with her, waiting for their contact from a local group which could help rehabilitate the women once the angels did their thing and saved everyone.
The moment Galina stepped inside the room, Svetlana knew who she was. Those eyes could only belong to her sister. She had studied them, staring across a dimly lit bedroom because her sister was all she had in the world. She froze, unable to decide what to do next.
"Hello, my name is Alyona Xandrova," Galina said, extending a hand to Michael who shook it. Hearing Galina's voice, whether she was giving a fake name or not, was all it took to unfreeze Svetlana. She leapt forward, wrapping her arms around her sister while she burst into tears. Then, in Russian, she repeated, "I found you, I found you, I found you," over and over again.
