Thomas felt his heart break the second he read the letter and heard the pain in Jamie's voice. He didn't know how to do this, how to talk his child through a broken relationship. It had always been Thomas who had suffered through his loves leaving him, and he had, with the exception of Jamie's mother, kept that from Jamie himself. This was a new experience for both of them. Thomas had thought he might honestly never have to watch Jamie go through it either.
He had trusted Theseus that much.
