"Sponsors. Pains in the arse," Lachlan said, though he didn't mean it today. He certainly meant it sometimes.
The door behind them closed loudly and Ciaran came blustering in, looking slightly disheveled. Lachlan turned to greet his boyfriend, amused by Ciaran's half-frantic countenance. "Hey, bub," Lachlan chuckled. "Everything okay?"
Ciaran threw his briefcase on the floor, dramatically, though he was sure the effort looked comedic. "Never run a pharmaceutical company," he said with a huge sigh. "I smell curry." He leaned in to kiss Lachlan and grinned. "And strawberries, is that new shampoo?"
"Yep. It has glitter in," Lachlan beamed.
"Hey, Iain, nice to see you," Ciaran greeted Lachlan's brother.
