Helen had begun to venture out a little farther every time she left the apartment. She still wasn't comfortable being gone for too long, especially now she Paris rearing his ugly head. That only made her want to hole herself up again like before. At least now she knew his usual haunts, so she could steer clear of those. She had seriously considered hiring someone to tail him at all times just to ensure she wouldn't just happen to bump into him. Maybe history liked being a repeating bitch, but Helen needed a break.
With no plans to leave anytime soon and the invitation to come out and have some dinner, Helen was glad that Briseis was there. She still had no idea how she would ever make it up to her for allowing her to stay for so long. And even though she knew Paris wasn't nearby, she still crept out of her bedroom cautiously. She knew better, but she couldn't help it. When she saw only Briseis moving about the kitchen she breathed a sigh of relief and offered a smile as she entered the kitchen. "Need any help?"
