It would likely be a long time before Helen was completely okay. She could live mostly free now, but with the constant fear that loomed over her it was rather difficult to truly enjoy life like she used to. She knew it wouldn't take only a month to move on with her life. Those who were now protecting her really understood what it meant when she was trapped in that curse. She was completely, one-hundred percent not herself. So at least now she had that backup if she ever had need of it.
She welcomed that hug, accepting how warm and comforting it was in comparison to every embrace she had endured over the past two years. She offered a warmer smile, taking a seat next to him. Her eyes followed Arianna. She laughed as she watched the little girl overpower her competitor. It reminded her of fighting in the palaestra as a child. The only real difference was the children were fully clothed and they didn't carry real weapons. She applauded the young girl. "She's strong," she said, unable to take her eyes off of the girl. Once again she saw so much of her own daughter in that young girl.
