"Well you know I agree, but of course she didn't see it that way," Terpsichore sighed. She still smiled at her sister. "Thanks, Callie, I know you will."
David had peeled the paper off his cupcake and taken a bite, but it was more for something to do with his hands. He started a bit when Melpomene started to talk to him, and he wanted to fidget a bit as he took in her words. But he managed not to, he just said, "Thank you. She's always been kind to me, even when we're not in class. She's just a good person, and I just wanted to help her."
Thalia stood. "I'll come with you, I could really go for a tea. Or maybe a sandwich. Something."
Apollo came back into the room right then. "They're prepping the OR for you right now," he told Terpsichore. "I won't be working on you, since we're family. But I might have interrogated the surgeon a bit, and he seems like he knows what he's doing. And as soon as you're in a room, I'll come by and sit with you again."
