Raiden would happily be a pet, she was already a yo-yo for her father to toy with. Her innocence sometimes blinded her from the real evils in this world, and the ones that she hid from herself. She liked to believe the good was in everyone (except the monster that killed her mother), but even that she tried to hold at bay. Raiden couldn't deal with grief normally, she had her father's interchangeable personality for that.
She was so starved for the attention that Vepar gave her that she didn't think he had any ill intentions for her at all. She ducked her head a little, pink completely coating her face now. "He's---he's been busy---" she said trying to be more firm with her words, but instead she just felt the heat on her face. His touches were so innocent, but at the same time it made her stomach turn upside down.
