Jesse put one arm around her, doing his best to keep his wet hair from dripping all over her. "Just so long as she's happy and they're both healthy," he agreed. "We can't wait."
He did smile at Patricia, pleased that she seemed so happy to hear that she was going to be a grandmother. But looking over at the major, his expression cooled. "Are you not happy you're going to be a grandfather?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "Oh god, you remind me a bit of my own dad," he muttered quietly, though in his mother's tongue, because he figured he shouldn't start a fight in the foyer.
