WHO: Michael and Lucifer
WHAT: Brotherly love
WHEN: Valentine's Day
WHERE: Lucifer's place
Michael had never been inside Lucifer's apartment before, but he certainly knew where his brother lived. He kept an eye on both Lucifer and Satan so he knew where they were at most times. Now, however, it wasn't out of suspicion that he was headed to Lucifer's place and he wasn't intending to lurk outside. He was going to go inside and he was going to give his brother a gigantic hug.
Lucifer had said that Michael could come in and make himself at home so he did so. He entered the house and grinned, calling for his brother. "Lucifer, I'm here! I brought beer! Where are you?"
Lucifer was beyond happy Michael had said yes to his offer. He'd chased all of the minions out and burned everything that his brother would disapprove off. IT had been far too long since they had been together and just been themselves.
Grinning he walked out of his bedroom, he'd had to get dressed, and without hesitation went and hugged his brother. "Right here and you didn't have to. It's wonderful that you came, I know I'm a pain." Smiling he released his brother. He was more like himself before, right to the subtle glow he gave off.
Michael grinned and he gave Lucifer a squeeze and then a little bounce as they hugged. He missed him so much! When Lucifer released him, Michael reached out to take Lucifer's subtly glowing hand. "I love you, brother. Let's never fight again?"
He gave an eager nod, the light brightening for a few moments. "Never. I promise. It'll be almost like before again." Smiling he hugged his brother again, "I did miss you."
It would be like it was before!? They wouldn't ever fight again?! It was the best news Michael had ever heard. "I- I don't think I've ever felt as happy as I do right now," Michael said. He didn't truly experience emotions, not really. But he was sure this was happiness. He stepped forward to kiss Lucifer's forehead.
He smiled to the kiss. It was just like before. Whatever good had existed in him had long been burned out, but this was the same, he knew it. "Good. I've been an idiot." Grinning he set one arm around his brothers shoulder. "Come on we can sit and you can tell me about things. Teach me again."
Michael led his younger brother to the sofa where he sat Lucifer down beside him. "I will teach you anything you want," Michael assured him. "God will forgive the things you have done. So do I," he said easily. Of course he would. He loved Lucifer. "The important thing is moving on."
He nodded, "I can do that." He was more concerned with Michael's forgiveness then God's. His brother was more important. "Well the old things no longer matter. Tell me about being a policeman. Is it very much like the shows?"
Michael chuckled and he pulled his brother in to lean against him. "It's not very much like the shows. It's a lot of filling out forms, actually."
