WHO: Wrath and George (and a bit of Mairead [NPC]) WHAT: Yeah, so I have a kid, so what? WHEN: Sunday afternoon, probs? WHERE: George's WARNINGS: Language?
The more her siblings talked to October (and the more October seemed to enjoy it) it just drove home the fact that she was going to have to talk to George about this. Since discovering October was actually her daughter, which to be fair had only been a few weeks ago, Wrath had been trying to keep it quiet. She hadn't told a soul, but it seemed like October had different plans.
She made her way to George's house, feeling hangdog and overwhelmed. At least, she figured, she wouldn't have to deal with Patrick being all excited about it. Surely he was at the hospital with his Greek and the spawns! She knocked and raised her eyebrows when Mairead answered.
"Oh hey, Wrath," Mairead said, swinging the door wider. "Come on in. You here to see George??
"No, I thought we could braid each other's hair and tell ghost stories," Wrath hissed at the teenager.
Mairead just snorted, and it frustrated Wrath that the girl was clearly not afraid of her. In fact it seemed like the girl liked her. Ew. "Don't tempt me because I will. Want to try this new cherry hot chocolate I got? It's so good. Don't even answer, it's happening. I'll go make you some. GEORGE!" Mairead screamed at the top of her lungs, in true teenage fashion. "YOUR GIRLFRIEND'S HERE! SAVE HER BEFORE I BRAID HER HAIR!" Then Mairead flounced off into the kitchen to make the hot chocolate. Wrath followed, feeling slightly out of her depth.
"I'm not going to say thank you for the hot chocolate," she said as she watched Mairead make it.
"If you did I just might faint," Mairead shot back with a grin.
