Finally they arrived at Patience's apartment. Patience parked and helped her out of the car. "I want to look after you here. I hope you don't mind." It wasn't too far to the front door, and he stepped inside, Temperance tight against his side. Everything was where he'd left it, his computer still on and his coffee cold next to it. He sat her on the sofa, touching her shoulder comfortingly as he went to run a bath and get her a hot drink. He fixed a sweet hot chocolate, milky and smooth, to put some sugar and warmth back into her system. He squatted in front of her and pressed the mug into her hands, looking up at her face. "We'll get you clean first. Are you okay with that?"
