Envy just had a vision that he didn't want disturbed. When he finished burning lines on Temperance's arms, her eyes focused on the wall behind Sloth as she swallowed down the lump in her throat. As long as Envy didn't bring anyone else in on his project. She hated when he brought in other girls as if they were set pieces to his stage.
There were lights in this room, he had lamps and a heater, but there were a million candles spaced out in various places that he had to light. Envy took the lighter he'd borrowed from Sloth and started to light the ones that were stationed around Temperance's feet. He tip-toed out of the circle and lit some more, which fanned out across the room. Once he was done with those, then he'd blind Temperance with the real lights. For right now he wanted the mood lighting.
He stepped on his used cigarette then walked back over to Sloth. "Don't think of going anywhere yet, I might put you in there." Envy definitely preferred females, that much was certain in to how he played his attentions, but Sloth wasn't just a speck on the wall. Sloth was in his web, and Envy wasn't going to let him roll out.
