There was a loneliness in Envy that made him so dangerous. He spent most of his time with himself as a playmate. It's what made him the sick, twisted Sin he was. It was all the underlying layers of demented thoughts that threaded themselves together that made him disturbed. It was why Envy at his most raw could be the most dangerous of all of them. He didn't overindulge like the Excesses. He didn't burn out quickly. He dwelled in his misery and drug everyone into his massive web, once there they were hooked they were destined down this path of inner destruction. That's really what Envy was reaching for inside of Temperance. He'd never broken a Virtue, but he had to admit the idea alone was just too tempting for him to put down now that he'd tasted her fear.
"Why are you touching things?" Envy asked, his voice very direct. Sloth was clumsy, and Envy was an artist.
