"Some tea wouldn't go amiss right now, thank you," she said, suddenly feeling very awkward and small, like a child reporting to the headmaster.
"Before either of us pops," she began. "You're not in trouble, no one is sick, injured, captured, or missing, and I'm not here to break up with you." She sighed, jamming her hands into her jacket pockets.
